The BCU+ requires the Boost Controller be wired for correct operation of the unit,while the turbo timer and switching device do not need to be connected for proper function of the boost controller. However, if you wish to utilize these features, please see the optional wiring section of this instruction booklet.
The turbo timer have both automatic and manual settings. This allows the user to manually set how long the vehicle should continue to run after the key is removed from the system. Or,for an even easier setting ,allow the BCU+ to calculate exactly how long your engine should run based on how much boost the engine has seen.
The switching system is a great feature for drag racers!
